The regular Ram 1500 trucks are available in many different trim levels, and it can get a bit confusing trying to keep them all straight. However, this problem has been avoided entirely with the Ram 1500 Classic. Offered in a trio of trims, it’s much easier to decide which model is best suited for your lifestyle. Let’s take a closer look at each one.
A Classic Trim Breakdown
First, the Tradesman is the work truck of the Classic models. The cabin is done in vinyl upholstery and flooring for easy clean-ups. If you spill coffee or track in mud, you can simply hose out the cabin. There is no need for fancy brushes, cloths, or cleaning solutions. Just wash it out, and the Tradesman will be as good as new again. Of course, you can upgrade the cabin upholstery to cloth if you really want to, but it isn’t standard. The front bench seat comes in a 40/20/40 split configuration, and there are two USB ports for charging your mobile devices. On the exterior, you will find power-adjustable/heated side mirrors, a Class IV receiver hitch with integrated wiring for a trailer, and the Rambox cargo management system.
The mid-level Express is a stylistic model that is catered to buyers who enjoy sleek sophistication. It has a monochromatic look with 17-inch aluminum wheels that have been painted black for a mysterious aesthetic. The floors have been upgraded to carpet, and you can add floor mats for protection if you want. The glass is also tinted to help guard against the glaring sun and keep the cabin cooler in the summer months.
Finally, the top-of-the-line Warlock model is almost entirely blacked-out for a very chic look. The front and rear bumpers are finished in powder black, and the tow hooks are also painted black. Riding on 20-inch alloy wheels that are down in black-gloss as well, the Warlock features a unique grille with black trim. Projector headlight and LED fog lamps offer enhanced visibility at night and during inclement weather. Meanwhile, you can open the sliding rear window to let in some fresh air. If you choose a 4WD model, it will come with a 1-inch suspension lift as well, which is great for off-roading. As for entertainment, the Warlock can be fitted with the Uconnect 4C NAV infotainment system displayed on an 8.4-inch touchscreen. This system operates with a 4G LTE Wifi hotspot HD radio, Bluetooth, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto.
Every trim of the Ram 1500 Classic adds something unique, and having the three simple options enables an easy selection when it comes to deciding which one to purchase. With this truck, drivers can get what they want without any hassle.
